Luci Rose (MEd)
I have just started my PHD. I am investigating motivational differences in people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) at a behavioural and neurological level. This could have significant implications for educational and social interventions, for people with autism.
I have worked with children and adults with autism for 19 years as a class teacher, autism provision leader and special school senior manager. I have worked in an advisory capacity with professionals and parents in the UK and Eastern Europe. I was a respite carer for a young man with autism for 6 years, and am now his advocate.
I have an MEd in Autism form Birmingham University. I gave a seminar at the PECS congress 2006.
